Math

There are a variety of strategies you could offer to clients to support their math development.
Similar to reading, there are many different components to math and key academic skill of deficit include:
■ Number sense
■ Memorization of math facts
■ Accurate or fluent calculation
■ Accurate math reasoning
It is pivotal that a child’s deficits in math be identified in terms of their specific area of impairment and that recommendations must be made based on a child’s unique profile of skills and weaknesses.
